Merry Christmas to All 2. If You Do Only Two Things In the Next 12 Months _______________________________ 1. I'd like to take this opportunity wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. If you enjoyed the things I've discussed and shown you in the past 12 months....please stick around...there are going to be a lot of exciting new ideas coming your way for business growth and improvement during the New Year from my newsletter. ___________________________ 2. If You Do Only Two Things in The Next 12 Months Many of you are taking some time to rethink and plan for your 2007 business strategies during the next couple of weeks (at least this is the time of year that I like to chart the course for my businesses -- it's quiet and you the phones aren't ringing constantly.) I'm often asked: "What are the BEST things that I could be doing to improve my business in the next 12 months?" Well...here are my thoughts: 1. Put a plan in place in attract MORE HIGH quality "triple A" clients. 2. Put a plan in place in DUMP (read: FIRE) "C" clients. 3. Put a plan in place to attract and retain the BEST people in your industry. I'm going to be talking about "people attraction" an awful lot more in the New Year. Right now though...if I had limited resources (time, money and people) here are the TWO MOST important things that I'd be doing to kick off 2007: 1. Develop a strategic internet marketing strategy and get the right tools to put the thing in place. Right now, according to Forrester Research 89% of business buyers are looking to the internet as their #1 source of purchasing information for EVERYTHING including professional services. Look at my new website and STUDY IT! This is the blueprint for marketing and selling high value B2B services...period...end of story! This approach puts and end to useless sales calls, unproductive meetings and wasted marketing efforts. http://www.rainmakergateway.com/ Learn how to build (or hire someone) to design and build a cohesive web based marketing strategy for your firm. By 2008, the Internet will be the NUMBER 1 B2B marketing channel. Either you GET this or you don't. If you don't get this...you need to be on a different newsletter or you need to get your old "day job" back. 2. Learn (or hire some one --- yes it DOES take money to MAKE money) how to write Special Reports and White Papers that will "Grab, Hold and Enthrall" your prospects. The White Paper is the ULTIMATE marketing weapon for the sales of high value B2B services. Education based marketing with White Papers; the right kind of internet strategy and other related materials such as special reports, executive briefings and e-presentations allow you to automate virtually all of your marketing efforts and to get highly qualified prospects to CALL you for advice. If you want to write your own white papers but don't know where to start, I've put together a special toolkit that will show you how (and...today is the last day that you can order it as I'm remodeling the whole thing and making it part of a much larger and MUCH more expensive product in 2007.) Here's the link to learn more. http://www.rainmakeruniversity.com/white_paper.html Fully 98% of you that receive this newsletter have NEVER attended one of my seminars and have never ordered any of my free special reports or information products. I suspect that you aren't attending anyone other seminars either, you don't invest in books and educational materials outside your narrow area of expertise and that you simply DON'T invest the resources that you should be investing to LEARN how to EFFECTIVELY and EFFICIENTLY manage your businesses at a higher level. I assure you...the 98% of you that don't invest in your education and have EXACTLY the same (or worse) business operations as you did 12 months ago while there are other businesses all around you that are improving, growing and that have extremely satisfied people working in them. It's really pretty simple...if you don't invest in your business and yourself...your business won't be doing much investing back into you. The choice is yours...another 12 months of the same old "crap" or make 2007 a BREAKTHROUGH year for your business. Inertia will "drown" you if you let it. Again, Merry Christmas to all. Until next time.
